Two women rescued, operator arrested

Nagpur: The police have uncovered an illegal prostitution racket operating under the cover of a spa center in a residential area of Nagpur. The Beltarodi Police raided a facility named ‘7C Wellness Spa,’ rescuing two women and arresting a female operator.

Authorities had received prior intelligence indicating that unlawful activities were being conducted at the spa located in the Manish Nagar area. Acting on this information, a police team, under the guidance of a senior inspector, deployed a decoy customer to verify the allegations. During the operation, it was confirmed that the premises were being used for prostitution.

The investigation further revealed that the accused woman allegedly lured women from other states—particularly Odisha—into the racket by offering financial incentives. During the raid, the police seized cash and mobile phones, with the total value of the confiscated items estimated at around ₹15,000.

Both rescued women have been moved to a safe location, and the process of their rehabilitation has been initiated.
