Nizamabad: Four people lost their lives after a speeding bus overturned in the early hours of Friday in Telangana’s Nizamabad district. According to police, the bus was carrying 23 passengers and was traveling from Hyderabad to Akola in Maharashtra.
The accident occurred near the Indalwai area of Nizamabad when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The bus veered off the road and overturned. Three passengers died on the spot, while another succumbed to injuries during treatment at a hospital.
Police officials stated that driver negligence and overspeeding are suspected to be the primary causes of the accident.
