Jaipur: Mild earthquake tremors were felt in Mount Abu, Rajasthan’s popular tourist destination, at around 7:30 p.m. on Friday. No reports of loss of life or property have been received so far. People were engaged in their routine activities when they suddenly heard a sound resembling thunder or the cracking of mountains, followed by noticeable tremors. The earthquake, which lasted approximately five to seven seconds, caused panic among residents, prompting many to step out of their homes as a precaution.
