Raipur: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Monday chaired a high-level security review meeting in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, to assess the situation of left-wing extremism. The significant meeting was attended by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, along with the Union Home Secretary, the Director of the Intelligence Bureau, and the Directors General of the CRPF, NIA, BSF, and ITBP. Additionally, Home Secretaries and Directors General of Police from Naxal-affected states such as Telangana, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Maharashtra were present, where detailed discussions were held on strengthening coordination between the Centre and the states.
