If you are a fan of 1960s Bollywood, Dharmendra’s name surely holds a special place in your heart. On 4 November 1960, a film titled Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere was released in theatres. Directed by Arjun Hingorani, the film marked the arrival of a new hero in Bollywood—Dharmendra Singh Deol. With this debut, he instantly won people’s hearts, and in the years that followed, the world came to know him as the “He-Man” of Hindi cinema.
Today, on 24 November, Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89. Earlier in the day, an ambulance was seen at the actor’s residence, which once again worried his fans. Not long ago, false rumours of his death had shocked the entire nation. However, this time, Dharmendra has truly bid farewell to the world. According to an IANS report, the iconic actor is no more.
