New Delhi: During hearings related to money laundering cases, the Supreme Court made an important and stern observation. The Court noted that financially affluent and influential individuals often approach the judiciary to challenge the very validity of the law as soon as a case is registered, instead of submitting themselves to the due process of law. Expressing deep concern over this growing tendency, Chief Justice of India Surya Kant described it as a rare and troubling trend.
