New Delhi: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has cautioned the public regarding FASTag annual passes. NHAI has warned that some fraudulent websites and unauthorized platforms are falsely claiming to sell FASTag annual passes, which could lead people to fall victim to scams.
NHAI has clarified that the FASTag annual pass can be purchased only through its official Highway Travel App, which is available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. According to NHAI, no external agency or private website is authorized to sell this pass.
It has also been reported that certain fake platforms are sending links to users, asking for money and personal information, which may be misused. The public has been advised not to click on such links and to refrain from sharing any personal or sensitive information.
