Dispute arose over construction of a wall blocking a road in a posh locality
Lucknow: A case was registered on Tuesday evening in Lucknow against former Uttar Pradesh MP and strongman Dhananjay Singh. The police have also filed cases against Vinay Singh, husband of Jaunpur block pramukh Mandvi Singh, and his gunman.
The matter stems from a dispute over a road in Lucknow. Earlier, Vinay Singh—who represents the Maharajganj block pramukh in Jaunpur—had lodged a complaint against two named individuals and 15 unidentified persons in connection with the dispute.
Subsequently, in a cross-complaint filed on Tuesday, a case was registered at Sushant Golf City police station in Lucknow against former MP Dhananjay Singh, Vinay Singh, his gunman, and 10 unidentified individuals.
