New Delhi. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has taken the incident seriously and initiated immediate action. An emergency meeting was held at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Resident Commissioner Dr. Shashank Goel.
The Chief Minister instructed the Chief Secretary, the DGP, and other senior officials to maintain continuous coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, and Saudi authorities. Special helplines have been launched in Hyderabad and Delhi to assist the affected families. A control room has also been set up at the Haj House.
The state cabinet has decided that an official delegation, led by Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin, will soon depart for Saudi Arabia.
