Mumbai – Indian cricket team’s aggressive opening batter Abhishek Sharma has not delivered an impressive performance so far in the T20 World Cup. Despite this, he currently tops the list of players who have reached 50 sixes in the fewest deliveries, achieving the milestone in just 331 balls.

West Indies batter Evin Lewis holds the second spot, having completed his 50 sixes in 366 deliveries, while South Africa’s Dewald Brevis ranks third, reaching the mark in 368 balls.

In fourth place is Andre Russell, who brought up his 50 sixes in 409 deliveries, followed by Afghanistan’s Hazratullah Zazai in fifth position, achieving the milestone in 492 balls.

Among the emerging batters making rapid strides in six-hitting, Dewald Brevis stands out prominently. He has surpassed seasoned campaigner Andre Russell in terms of pace to the milestone. In a recent Super 8 clash against Zimbabwe, Brevis scored 42 runs off just 18 balls, smashing two fours and four sixes at a remarkable strike rate of 233.33. During that innings, he also completed his 50 sixes in T20 cricket.
