Kolkata: Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal assembly Suvendu Adhikari filed an official complaint with the Chief Election Commissioner of India, levelling serious allegations against the Police Welfare Committee. He named three police officers associated with the committee and also sent videos of their alleged political speeches to the Commission. Suvendu Adhikari demanded that no member of the Police Welfare Committee be assigned any type of election duty in the upcoming assembly elections.
