New Delhi: Pakistan has been rattled by India’s latest move, code-named Trishul. In response, Islamabad has imposed flight restrictions across several of its air routes and placed multiple airbases on high alert. Reports indicate that the Pakistan Air Force and Navy have been put on standby to tackle any “potential threat.”
Pakistan’s Naval Chief personally visited the Sir Creek region to assess the situation on the ground. Defense analysts suggest that Pakistan might either be preparing for its own military exercise or planning a missile test.
In reality, India is set to conduct a major military exercise named Trishul along its western border — directly facing Pakistan. The news has caused considerable unease among Pakistan’s leadership. As a precautionary measure, they have closed off a significant portion of their airspace and issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) concerning air traffic.
