After Chhath, a jubilant BJP takes a jibe, says — “Along with Kejriwal, the Yamuna foam has also vanished.”

Delhi

New Delhi: Following the successful celebration of Chhath Puja in the Yamuna, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its Delhi unit took a lyrical dig at former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The BJP remarked, “With Kejriwal gone, the Yamuna foam has disappeared too. While he was busy putting up bans, we were laying out open arms.”

Delhi government minister Kapil Mishra, speaking to the media at the ghat after the morning arghya (sun offering), said, “Kejriwal is gone, and so is the foam. This time, there isn’t a trace of it in the Yamuna. The Chhath Puja is being celebrated beautifully.”

He added, “Anyone standing at the ghat, anyone celebrating Chhath — just ask them with a mic. The difference is like night and day. The Chief Minister personally took the lead and visited every single ghat.”
