Nagina’s Diet Includes Dry Fruits
Ajmer: The International Pushkar Fair 2025 has begun in Pushkar, located in Rajasthan’s Ajmer district, and will continue until November 5. People from far and wide arrive at the fair with their livestock to participate in exhibitions and competitions.
This year, the main attraction of the fair is a Marwari breed mare named ‘Nagina’, valued at ₹1 crore, who has become the center of attention for her distinctive gait and remarkable price. The Marwari mare ‘Nagina’ continues to draw crowds at the fair, enchanting visitors with her graceful movements and regal presence.
Nagina has been raised by Gora Bhai from Bathinda, Punjab, who has cared for her since she was a foal. He owns the Saran Stud Farm, known for breeding and nurturing horses of various pedigrees. Gora Bhai has been a regular participant in the Pushkar Fair since 2010, but this year, he has brought not just one, but ten different horses and mares to showcase at the event.
