India and New Zealand Strengthen Cooperation on Counterterrorism and Cybersecurity

During talks held in Auckland between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to working together to address terrorism, cybersecurity threats, and emerging security challenges. They agreed to enhance cooperation at both regional and international forums to promote shared security interests.

The two leaders strongly condemned terrorism in all its forms, including cross-border terrorism, and emphasized the importance of maintaining a zero-tolerance approach. They also expressed support for taking firm action against terrorist financing, safe havens, and the misuse of online platforms by terrorist networks.

Additionally, India and New Zealand reiterated their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and maintaining regular dialogue to promote global peace, security, and stability.
