On the occasion of the foundation day of the Azad Hind Fauj, several prominent leaders including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Delhi leader Rekha Gupta paid tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the brave soldiers of the Indian National Army (INA).
Remembering their courage, Amit Shah stated that the soldiers of the INA will forever remain an enduring source of inspiration for the spirit of “Nation First.”
In a post shared on the social media platform X, Shah wrote:
“On the foundation day of the Azad Hind Fauj, I bow to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the brave soldiers of the INA. Through the Azad Hind Fauj, Netaji strengthened the belief among revolutionaries that with their own army and military campaigns, Indians could achieve independence.”
He further added that under Netaji’s leadership, the INA soldiers who hoisted the tricolour in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in 1943 and declared India’s independence will remain eternal symbols of the ‘Nation First’ spirit.
