RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences conducts trial; product likely to be available in the market soon
New Delhi: With the increasing use of smartphones, televisions, and other digital screens, eye-related problems are also rising significantly. Among these, dry eye syndrome has become a common and troubling condition. Symptoms such as irritation, itching, blurred vision, and lack of adequate moisture in the eyes are typically managed using eye drops.
However, the RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has conducted trials on a novel tablet developed from human breast milk. This innovative formulation is designed not only to restore natural moisture in the eyes but also to provide a long-term solution for dry eye syndrome.
