Toyota Unveils New Electric SUV ‘E-Bela’

New Delhi: Automobile manufacturer Toyota has revealed its new electric SUV, ‘E-Bela,’ which is believed to be a rebadged version of the e-Vitara. The vehicle is expected to feature a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic roof, and a JBL audio system. It will likely be offered with two battery options, delivering an estimated range of up to 440 km and 543 km.

Meanwhile, Tata Motors is set to reintroduce its popular Sierra in an electric avatar. The SUV will combine a modern design with both AWD (All-Wheel Drive) and RWD (Rear-Wheel Drive) options. Equipped with 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs, it is being designed to cater to long-distance travelers and adventure enthusiasts.

Vietnamese automaker VinFast is also preparing to enter India’s affordable EV segment with its VF 3 model. This compact yet powerful hatchback will feature an SUV-inspired design and is expected to offer a range of up to 326 km.

Additionally, Kia is planning to launch an electric version of its Syros SUV, which is likely to come with premium features and battery options ranging from 42 kWh to 49 kWh. At the same time, Honda is working on its ‘Zero Alpha’ electric SUV, which is expected to be launched by 2027.
