New Delhi: New Zealand cricketer Glenn Phillips has stated that Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is a world-class bowler, but like any player, he can occasionally have an off day. Phillips made this remark on Sunday ahead of the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, where India national cricket team and New Zealand national cricket team will face each other.
Praising Bumrah, Phillips said that he is an outstanding bowler with a wide range of variations and exceptional effectiveness during the death overs. However, he also emphasized that Bumrah is human and may sometimes have a difficult day. Phillips added that the New Zealand team hopes to get a few opportunities in the final and intends to make the most of them.
