Indian team to play only one warm-up match
Dubai. The schedule for the practice matches of the ICC T20 World Cup cricket tournament, set to begin on 7 February, has been officially announced. Ahead of the tournament, all participating teams will get an opportunity to play warm-up matches to adapt to the conditions.
As per the schedule, the Indian setup will be involved in a total of three warm-up fixtures. Out of these, the Indian ‘A’ team will play two matches to help other teams prepare. The main Indian team, however, will feature in only one warm-up match during the tournament.
The warm-up matches will be held from 2 February to 6 February. These games are organized to help teams find their rhythm before the main competition. In warm-up matches, all 15 squad members are allowed to participate, and there is no requirement to declare a final playing eleven at the time of the toss.
