New Delhi: In today’s fast-paced race to get ahead, mounting work pressure and a constant shortage of time are taking a toll on both physical and mental well-being. As a result, the body is gradually becoming vulnerable to several serious health conditions. Among them, diabetes has emerged as one of the fastest-growing problems. No longer confined to the elderly, it is now increasingly affecting children and young adults as well.
There is a common belief that diabetes is caused only by consuming sweets, but the reality is quite different. In fact, diabetes is largely a lifestyle-related disease, in which everyday unhealthy habits play a crucial role. The condition develops when the level of glucose (sugar) in the blood rises beyond normal limits. This process is directly linked to the pancreas, the organ responsible for producing the hormone insulin.
When the Sangh’s “Ghosh” became so popular that people began requesting it for their private events, Dr. Hedgewar decided to restrict it exclusively to national and Sangh programs.
New Delhi: The “Ghosh” played during the path marches of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has today become a defining symbol of the organization. However, there was a time when its growing popularity led people to request it on hire for private functions, including weddings. In response, the founder of the Sangh, Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, adopted a firm stance and decided that the Ghosh would be used only for national occasions and official Sangh programs.
