14 Judges Transferred in Uttar Pradesh; CJM Who Ordered FIR Against ACP Anuj Also Removed

Prayagraj: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Allahabad High Court on Tuesday evening ordered the transfer of 14 judicial officers across Uttar Pradesh. The list includes three officers of the district judge rank. The transfer orders were issued by Rajneesh Kumar, Registrar (Judicial Services) of the High Court.

Among the names on the list, the transfer of Sambhal Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Vibhanshu Sudhir has drawn particular attention. On January 9, he had directed the registration of an FIR against ACP Anuj Chaudhary and 20 other police personnel in connection with the Sambhal violence case. The allegation stated that during the violence, a young man was shot.
