The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has placed an orange alert on the region, indicating the likelihood of more showers throughout the day. This warning follows another episode of intense rainfall on Tuesday, which had already slowed traffic and caused disruptions in various parts of Delhi.

Mumbai & Maharashtra Weather Update
Heavy monsoon showers continue to drench Mumbai and nearby districts. The IMD has put out an orange alert for Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, and Palghar, warning residents to stay cautious. Persistent waterlogging has led Mumbai Traffic Police to temporarily close the Andheri Subway for public safety.
