New Delhi. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan got injured while shooting a film in Hyderabad. Amitabh Bachchan was shooting for his upcoming film Project K. Amitabh Bachchan’s ribs were injured, and the right rib muscle was torn. After the incident, the shooting of the film has been cancelled.
It will take several weeks to recover
Amitabh Bachchan got injured while shooting an action scene of the film. He has shared the health update in his blog. It will take several weeks for Big B to recover. Doctors at Hyderabad’s AIG Hospital did a CT scan of Amitabh Bachchan, and then he was brought back home by flight.
Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his blog, ‘And this must be told. There is no point in hiding. While shooting an action scene during the shooting of Project K in Hyderabad, I got injured. The ribs were injured, and the muscles of the right side were torn. The shoot has been cancelled.” Big B said that it was very painful.
‘There is severe pain in every movement
Amitabh Bachchan wrote, ‘The doctors of AIG Hospital in Hyderabad got a CT scan done, and then I took a flight back home. Strapping has been done, and advised to rest. Yes, there is a lot of pain. They are telling me that it will take a few weeks to get back to normal, even with every movement, and some medicines are also being taken for the pain.’
‘Project K’ shooting postponed
Amitabh Bachchan said that whatever work was to be done till some relief comes, all that has been stopped for now and has been postponed and cancelled. Big B wrote, ‘Right now I am resting in Jalsa and can do a little movement for important work. But yes, I am resting and generally keep lying down.’
